The Beaulieu matches case was designed in our French workshop and is crafted in Camel leather stitched with ecru thread. To complete the finish, the slices are hand-painted.
It offers the long matches needed to light the fire.
It’s in a spirit of authenticity and quality that, since 1998, Midipy has been offering a range of handmade leather goods, 100% made in France in our workshops in the Tarn region, where leatherwork and saddlery have been passed down from generation to generation.
Here, where manual labor has acquired its letters of nobility, the selection of leathers is carried out according to criteria of quality and longevity. Vegetable tanning allows this leather to take on the patina of time and retain its natural feel.
Using carefully tanned leather, craftsmen cut, assemble and sew leather components by hand.
The Beaulieu matches case goes perfectly with the Ansouis log holder.
Product care
Being a natural material, leather requires care to last through time. To do this, wipe your object with a damp cloth and make sure it is dry before its next use.
